Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The heart of Gaynor's charm lies in its homely atmosphere and friendly staff. Diners absolutely love the traditional Ulster Fry; it's a must-try for anyone visiting. The fast service keeps patrons happy, especially during busy times. The outstanding selection of teas and coffees adds to the café's appeal, making morning visits a pleasure. Many appreciate the café's family-friendly approach, with quick service and a menu that caters well to younger guests. The outdoor seating option is lovely during pleasant weather, providing a perfect spot for brunch. Many customers leave satisfied, often noting the value for money as a significant highlight of their visit.

Most Disliked

While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few customers mention the occasional wait during peak hours, particularly on Saturday mornings. The café's popularity can lead to overcrowding, causing longer wait times for food and seating. Some diners express a desire for more variety in the menu, particularly for lunch options. Although the café excites patrons with its traditional offerings, those seeking unique or contemporary twists may find fewer choices to their liking. Additionally, some visitors note that while the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, it can get quite busy, resulting in a bit of noise, which might detract from a relaxed dining experience for some.

Lovely friendly homely cafe. Very quick service and always very friendly to kids! Hot tasty food. Salt of the earth people who ruin the cafe. Best wee cafe in Portadown. And very reasonably priced!

Great wee cafe in the centre of Portadown. Due to moving away I hadn't been in for 30 years. Have to say nostalgia! The food is great and served with a smile which brought back childhood memories. Absolutely love this little place. 5 stars
